Do You Ignore Criticism When You’re 99% Successful?

Horizontal infographic on why a referral-based prospecting program was redesigned after 23 years to improve clarity, structure, and implementation support.

Share:

I’ve been teaching referral-based revenue since 2003.

23 years. Same methodology. No pivots. No chasing trends.

While everyone else was jumping from cold calling to social selling to AI prospecting to whatever came next, I stayed focused on one thing: helping professionals build relationships that generate revenue.

And it worked. Really well.

99% of my clients said things like:

  • “This program changed my life.”
  • “I wouldn’t be where I am today without this information.”
  • “This process MADE my business what it is today.”

But there was that 1%.

The 1% who said: “So much information. Great information. But overwhelming.”

“I feel like I have to return and learn more each time to implement.”

“It’s life-changing info, but it’s hard to figure out where to start, what to do, or how to make it all work.”

Most People Ignore the 1%

When you have 99% positive feedback, it’s easy to dismiss the 1%.

“They don’t get it.” “They’re not the right fit.” “They just need to do the work.”

But here’s what I learned: That 1% tells you what you need to do to support the 99% at the highest level.

Because if 1% are saying it out loud, how many more are thinking it but not telling you?

And in a market where business is getting more competitive, where marketing is 3X harder for half the result, where professionals are overwhelmed and exhausted—you can’t rest on your laurels.

You have to listen to the 1% and evolve.

What Changed (and What Didn’t)

The methodology didn’t change. I’ve been right about referrals for 23 years, and I’m still right about referrals.

What changed is how I deliver it.

The 1% didn’t need different information. They needed:

  • Clearer structure (where do I start?)
  • Better process (what do I do next?)
  • More implementation support (how do I make this work in my business?)
  • Guided execution (not just content consumption)

So I spent the past year completely rebuilding the program around one principle:

I can’t do the work for my clients. But I can make it a process to follow that is clear, well-articulated, and laid out to build great habits for prospecting.

What I Built Instead

Today at 10am CT, I’m walking through the rebuilt Productive Prospecting program.

Not a new methodology. The same proven framework I’ve refined for 23 years.

But delivered as a 12-week implementation sprint—not open-ended content consumption.

Here’s What Changed:

Before: Massive library of content. “Figure out what you need and when.”

Now: 12-week structured sprint. Week 1-4 you do this. Week 5-12 you do this. Staring Week 9 you add this.

Before: Self-study. “Watch the videos, do the work.”

Now: Weekly live coaching. You implement live, get feedback, course-correct in real time.

Before: You vs. the content.

Now: Accountability pods. Small peer groups that keep you moving forward together + ample opportunities to collaborate and build partnerships.

Before: “Here’s what to track in your CRM.”

Now: Prospecting Habits of Excellence—the complete CRM-ready workflow that replaces anxiety with process.

Before: General principles that work for everyone.

Now: Two parallel tracks—one for established professionals with clients to activate, one for emerging leaders building from scratch.

The Methodology You Already Know Works

If you’ve been following me for any length of time, you know I teach:

Client Clarity: You discover your ideal clients through 80/20 analysis of your actual relationships—not guessing.

Client Advocacy: You build advocacy triggers into your delivery so clients want to refer you.

Strategic Partnerships: You identify Tier 1 partners who serve your ideal clients and will introduce you repeatedly.

Systematic Process: You use the Influence Calendar to stay visible without being annoying.

That hasn’t changed. That’s still what works.

What changed is you’re not left alone to figure out how to implement it.

Why This Matters Now

Business isn’t getting easier. It’s getting harder.

Marketing is 3X harder for half the result.

Cold outreach stopped working (if it ever really did).

AI is commoditizing expertise, making relationships the only sustainable competitive advantage.

And professionals are exhausted from chasing tactics that don’t work.

The ones who thrive in 2026 won’t be the ones with the best content or the most activity.

They’ll be the ones who built a system—and stuck with it long enough to see it compound.

That’s what I’m teaching this morning.

Not new tactics. Not shiny objects. A proven framework that’s worked for 23 years, for hundreds of professionals, closing hundreds of millions of $$$ of business. Now delivered in a way that makes implementation inevitable instead of optional.

Today at 10am

I’m walking through the complete 12-week structure.

You’ll see:

  • How the client clarity sprint works (Weeks 1-4)
  • How the client advocacy process works (Weeks 5-8)
  • How the partnership playbook works (Weeks 5-12)
  • How the accountability and coaching structure keeps you moving

And you’ll decide if this is the right approach for you.

Workshop: Tuesday, January 13th at 10am 👉 [Register here]

The Beta Cohort

I’m launching the first cohort of this rebuilt program on January 20th.

Limited spots. 12 weeks. Guided implementation.

Pricing:

  • Alumni pricing: Because YOU inspired this (PP alumni $450, F2F alumni $2,000)
  • Beta pricing: $3,000 (this cohort only)
  • Future pricing: $4,500 (all future cohorts)

Beta participants get $1,500 off future pricing. But more importantly, you’re in the cohort that helps me refine the delivery—which means closer access and more hands-on support than any future group will have.

After this cohort, it’s $4,500. No exceptions.

Who This Is For

This is for professionals who:

✓ Struggle with implementation (not lack of information)

✓ Want structure and accountability (not just content)

✓ Prefer guided execution over self-study

✓ Are willing to do the work (but need the process)

✓ Want to build something that compounds (not chase tactics)

This is NOT for professionals who:

✗ Want more information (you have enough information)

✗ Prefer complete flexibility (this is structured)

✗ Don’t have time for weekly coaching (attendance matters)

✗ Are looking for quick hacks (this is systematic)

23 Years of the Same Message

I’ve never pivoted.

I’ve never chased the next big thing.

I’ve never changed my methodology to follow trends.

Because referrals work. They worked in 2003. They work in 2026.

What changed is I finally listened to the 1% who said “I need help implementing this.”

And I built what they asked for.

Today at 10am, I’m showing you what that looks like.

[Register for the workshop]

If you’re tired of consuming more content and ready to actually implement, I’ll see you tomorrow.

— Breandan

P.S. — Why I’m Doing This Workshop

I could just open registration and sell the program.

But I spent a year rebuilding this based on what clients told me they needed. I want to make sure I got it right.

Today’s workshop is as much for me as it is for you. I want to show you what I built, hear your questions, and see if this actually solves the problem the 1% identified.

If it does, you’ll know it’s right for you. If it doesn’t, you’ll know that too.

Either way, show up this morning and let’s find out together.
